Liam James was born on August 7, 1996 in Canada. He is an actor, known for 2012(2009), The Way Way Back (2013) and Psych (2006). I chose him because from my perspective I think he is able to maintain that serious yet confused personlity that Holden holds in the book.
Adam Hicks As Ackley
Adam Hicks was born on November 28, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA as Adam Paul Nielson Hicks. He is known for his work on Zeke and Luther (2009), Lemonade Mouth(2011) and Pair of Kings (2010). I chose him because his experience on Zele and Luther definately makes him worthy of playing a role of an unhygenic and a annoying person.
Mackenzie Foy As Phoebe
Mackenzie Christine Foy was born 10 November, 2000. She began her career as a child model in 2004, working for Garnet Hill, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Guess Kids. She has also modeled in print ads for companies such as Rubbermaid, Jones Apparel Group,The Walt Disney Company, Mattel, Target Corporation, Talbots, Guess and Gap I chose her because as described in the book Phoebe, is bright, pretty, mature beyond her years, sane, and his most trusted link to family. She has red hair and is "roller-skate skinny". Sp in my point of vew she would be the most accruate.
Aaron Taylor As Stradlater

Aaron Perry Johnson is an English actor whose professional work includes performances on stage, television, and in feature films. He began performing at age six. He appeared in films such as Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008) and The Illusionist (2006) etc. I think he would be good for Stradlater's role because he seems like a guy who would care about himself and would act like those typical hot-shots.
